John K. Baker

Mr. Baker began his real estate career in 1984 with Julian LeCraw & Co. which is a firm that has enjoyed success acquiring and developing large multi-family and commercial projects throughout the Southeast. While at that firm, Mr. Baker was a partner responsible for the operation of its commercial properties, the commencement of a brokerage group and participated in numerous sale, acquisition and finance transactions.  In 1993 he co-founded BDG. Since that time most of his experience has been focused on the acquisition, renovation and re-leasing of office and retail properties.  Mr. Baker graduated from Furman University in 1978 on an athletic scholarship and has earned the CCIM designation. He is a board member of two charitable organizations.

Don W. Dennard
Retired Founding Partner

Don W. Dennard was a co-founder of BDG (1993). From 1986 through 1992, Mr. Dennard was president of Dennard Realty Group, Inc., ("DRG") a firm specializing in leasing, property management, and income property brokerage. From 1980 through 1985 Mr. Dennard was associated with Dexter Company, an Atlanta based commercial real estate brokerage and management firm. Prior to that Mr. Dennard was an officer at The Citizens and Southern National Bank (now Bank of America) in its commercial real estate finance department. Mr. Dennard graduated with a BS in Finance from The University of Virginia.

He is a former director of Enterprise National Bank, now part of Regions Financial Corporation, and a member of NAIOP. Mr. Dennard retired from BDG in 2020. He is a director of a charitable foundation and manages private investments.

Wade H. Goetz

Prior to joining BDG in 2004, Mr. Goetz was an officer with Regent Partners, where he developed over 400,000 sq. ft. of suburban office buildings and managed the development of two office parks totaling 175 acres. Previously, Mr. Goetz was with Portman Barry Investments and Johnson Properties where he was principally involved with the development, financing and asset management of 1.8 million sq. ft. of class A office space. He began his career with Adam Cates Company (now Grubb & Ellis) in mortgage financing. Mr. Goetz graduated with a BCE degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a MBA from the University of Georgia. He is a member of NAIOP and a former member of ULI.
