In year 2000, BDG acquired controlling interest in this eight-building, 215,000 square foot business park fronting on Interstate 285 in northeast Metro Atlanta. Because of its age, the property faced obsolescence and potentially declining revenues. Within one year, BDG completed a comprehensive rehabilitation program thus extending the property’s investment life. With aggressive marketing and tenant retention efforts occupancy levels were consistently been above the competing market. In 2020, BDG sold the property to a regional real estate investment company. The investment generated a mid to high teens rate of annual return on invested capital during the holding period.
